Konstrakta’s Wild Animal Kingdom of Self-Discovery

In Neam Šamana, Konstrakta takes us on a playful, animal-filled quest for identity, sparked by reading about Emina Jahović calling herself a “wolf” (with a shaman’s approval, of course). Konstrakta, lacking a shaman, playfully wonders, “What am I?”

Left to her own devices, she tries on identities from across the animal kingdom. Is she a bird or, perhaps, a bear? And perhaps a pig? She even imagines herself as Jupiter, the largest of them all! Yet, she keeps coming back to her question: “But what am I?”
